Charlie Brown is the main character of the great comic known as Peanuts. This well written comic is shown in newspapers in various countries around the world. Charlie Brown’s character is someone who goes through a lot of stuff, lacks self-confidence, is nervous many times, and in general just someone who suffers regularly. This great cartoon character demonstrates both pessimistic and optimistic attitudes. Since he lacks self confidence Charlie Brown would refuse to go outside because his day might not be the most fun however he always hopes for the best for others and tries to help them in any way possible.
Charles Schulz, the creator of Charlie Brown, had many painful experiences in his life and he believed Charlie had to be the one who suffered the most since his character was mainly about being an average person. Most average people have events in life which end up with them suffering and going through pain and that is what Charlie’s character symbolizes. Even though Charlie Brown had sad moments he had many happy days as well.
